Your pooch will enjoy a bath & blow dry, nails clipped and ears cleaned.

Hand stripping is the removal of the top coat using the correct technique and tools to not damage the new coat growing in. This is for wire haired breed such as Westies, Airedales, Schnauzers, and other breeds such as Cocker Spaniels and Setters. 

There are two options in hand stripping. If the dog is groomed frequently (every 2 - 8 weeks) then the coat is 'rolled' and will keep a more natural and dense appearance as the amount of hair that is needing to be removed is equal to the new hair growing in. 

If the grooms are left longer than 8 weeks the coat becomes 'blown' and will require more time to strip the extra accumulated top coat. After the groom the coat will appear a lot shorter as there wont be as much new coat growing in. There will be an additional fee for blown coats as they take extra time to complete, this will be discussed with you upon check in.

Your pooch will also receive a spritz of cologne & a bandanna or bow on request.
