Grooming competitions are a fantastic way for pet stylists to showcase their talents that they have spent years perfecting. 
Competitions focus on lots of different aspects of techniques, skills, and handling, not just the final result of the groom. 

Groomers will only use dogs who are comfortable with grooming and relaxed on the table, these pups love to strut their stuff and get all the attention they can! 

The majority of competitions classes are for purebred dogs and judging is based on how close you can perfect your styling to match the breed standard. Other classes include salon freestyle, Asian Fusion, creative and model dog, these classes are for your mixed breeds (or purebreds in different breed clips) and give groomers free choice of what style they think suits their pup the best!
